The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is a three-year undergraduate degree program affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut. The program is designed to build a strong foundation in computer science, programming, software development, database management, networking, web technologies, operating systems, data structures, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and emerging digital technologies.
The curriculum integrates theoretical concepts with practical laboratory sessions, live projects, coding assignments, internships, hackathons, workshops, and industry-oriented learning to prepare students for the rapidly evolving IT industry. Students develop technical expertise, computational thinking, software development skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and professional ethics.
Along with the CCSU syllabus, institutions may enhance the program through industry certifications, AI and data analytics exposure, cloud computing platforms, coding competitions, entrepreneurship initiatives, and career readiness training.
